NEW Yorker

I’ve been living in New York for a little over a month now. That’s right, I’ve moved to the Big Apple! I have dreamed of this for years and I’m finally here. I am very blessed to be living in the city of dreams, chasing mine, and not doing it alone. I’m excited for this new chapter in my life and look forward to all of the opportunities this city has to offer. I also look forward to sharing them with my readers.

Moving of course doesn’t come without it’s challenges. For a month I have been exhausted. I am still maintaining both of my employments, and although an extreme blessing, my schedule is hectic. I also have to walk everywhere and take the Subway instead of having the luxury of getting in my car, so that makes working two jobs even that much more exhausting. But you know what? I’m learning patience and my calf muscles are coming in beautifully. The weather here has also been an adjustment since I have to actually commute more by foot and be outdoors. Nothing some layers and a positive attitude can’t handle, right? Currently the weather is trying to shift into Spring! I’m so excited to spend my first Spring/Summer in New York.

In other news, this past Saturday I spent the day exploring the city with my loved one and enjoyed the decent weather. We had a wonderful brunch in Harlem and ventured out into the city and saw where the day lead us.

Talk to you all soon.
